This term, our learning will be all about celebrations and the special ways people mark important times and events. We’ll be developing our knowledge of different festivals and traditions, including Christmas, Diwali, Bonfire Night, Remembrance, and birthdays, and exploring why and how people celebrate them around the world. Through stories, art, music, and discussion, we’ll build our vocabulary around celebrations, seasons, and festivals.

We’ll be learning about the seasons, how the weather changes, and what clothes we need to wear to keep comfortable and safe. Along the way, we’ll use and continue to develop key skills such as observing, comparing, sharing ideas, and showing respect and curiosity for others’ beliefs and cultures
