At Cottesmore Academy we believe that every child should have access to a rich, rounded and rigorous curriculum. With this in mind we established the ‘EPIC’ curriculum which puts the children at the very centre of their learning.

The ‘EPIC’ curriculum fuses our intrinsic values, taught through the ‘Amazing People Schools’                programme, with British Values, Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE), Relationship  and Health Education (RHE), and Spirtual, Moral, Social and Cultural Education (SMSC). This combination of key learning principles equally promotes intellectual, moral, spiritual, aesthetic and physical development.
