We are looking forward to an exciting and engaging term filled with opportunities for children to explore, discover and develop new skills across the curriculum.

This term, our learning will include:

Science – exploring plants and animals, learning about life cycles, and discovering what living things need to grow and survive.

Design and Technology – investigating different materials and textiles, learning where fabrics come from, and developing weaving and sewing skills.

History, Science and Geography – learning about the four seasons, weather patterns, day and night, and how to stay safe during the summer months.

Literacy – building confidence in reading and writing through engaging stories, phonics, role play and a range of writing opportunities.

Mathematics – developing number fluency, counting, addition and subtraction skills, as well as exploring patterns, shape and problem-solving.

Personal Development and Wellbeing – focusing on healthy lifestyles, exercise, mindfulness and looking after ourselves and others.

Creative Learning – expressing ideas through art, music, storytelling and imaginative play.

Alongside our classroom learning, children will enjoy regular outdoor learning experiences and opportunities to investigate the natural world around them.
