At Cottesmore Academy we believe that every child should have access to a rich, rounded and rigorous curriculum. With this in mind we established the ‘epIc’ curriculum which puts the children at the very centre of their learning.

The ‘epIc’ curriculum fuses our intrinsic values with one of our key principles, which   equally promotes intellectual, moral, spiritual, aesthetic and physical development. 

The ‘epIc’ curriculum contains the teaching and learning of:

· Our intrinsic values (Readiness for learning, showing Respect, being Resilient, Responsible, Resourceful and Reflective learners)

· British Values

· Jigsaw (PSHE)

· Metacognition and Growth mindset
