Many of our meetings so far have been to discuss a huge event that we are planning completely independently from the adults in school.

We are arranging a Race for Life event at our school in term 6.

Some of the key areas we have had to organise are:

Getting the event merchandise organised.

Organising members of staff to help with baking.

Ordering items to sell to raise money.

Setting a date for the event.

Inviting parents to the event.

Advertising the event.

Running lunchtime clubs to promote the event.

Creating and presenting an assembly on the event.

We have had to use all of our organisational skills to do this and we will be hosting the event in Term 6!
