Initially when schools were forced to close on 20th March 2020, we shut our doors but continued to provide childcare for the children of our Key Worker families. This was incredibly successful as we provided remote learning for every child throughout our closure and during holidays. At the beginning of April a survey was sent out to parents garnering their opinion on our remote learning and the support we were offering. Please see below for a copy of the responses we received.
However, on 1st June 2020 we came back home and welcomed all the children in our EYFS, Year 1 and Year 6 teams on top of the Key Worker children.
Below is a copy of Mrs Lucas's 19th May 2020 letter, that was ParentMailed to all families, detailing the arrangements for a potential phased re-opening from 1 June 2020. There is also below the letters sent out to each of the groups stating the gates for each group and their start and finish times.
Families have now responded stating whether they are returning their child to EYFS, Y1 and/or Y6. These responses were collated using a survey on Microsoft forms on 19th May 2020
A comprehensive risk assessment is in place and adhered to whilst the measures are in place in school.
Please remember that should you change your decision regarding whether to return your child to School, you must contact the School office first: email@example.com.
