Severe Weather Procedures

 

If there is a severe weather warning our procedures are as follows:

 

We will contact Rutland and Stamford Sound Radio if the school is to be closed. This information will be broadcast every half hour. A member of staff will be at school from 08.00 to provide up-to-date information.

 

Our website will be updated by 08.00 and it will state if the school is closed for the day. Where possible, we will also notify parents via ClassDojo.

 

If the weather becomes too severe during the day, families of any children  living off the Kendrew Barracks will be contacted so that they can come and collect their children safely.
