Cottesmore Academy

Uniform

Cottesmore Academy has a full school uniform policy. The school colour is navy and every pupil from Foundation Stage to Year 6 is expected to wear appropriate uniform. Our school uniform may be purchased online from Uniform Direct. At the front of school we do have second hand items available for a small cost (usually £1)

 

 

1. Go to www.uniform-direct.com and click 'Primary & Junior' under 'Select your School'

2. Scroll down the list to find Cottesmore Academy

4. Shop for items as required.

5. Go to the checkout and pay securely with any major credit or debit card.

PE Kit

PE kits should be worn to school on the days that your child has PE.  There will be 2 days a week where your child will be doing PE.

Navy shorts

Turquoise School PE t-shirt - this is a requirement (purchased online from Uniform Direct)

White or grey socks

Trainers

Grey or navy tracksuit bottoms (winter months)

 

When representing our school in competitions or events, we ask that children wear the complete PE kit. However, there may be times that we provide our School Team kit for an event. We ask that this special kit is returned to school soon after, washed and complete.

 

Additional Guidelines

Children are to wear school shoes.  These should be flat with no heels, no open toes and black.   Children are not permitted to wear trainers as school footwear except for PE lessons.   

 

Children can wear boots in the cold winter weather.  However, children must bring other shoes to change in to. Children are not permitted to wear boots in school. 

 

We do not allow fashion jewellery.  If a child has a pierced ear a simple stud may be worn.   Studs MUST be removed for PE and swimming.  Watches may be worn by children in KS2 but the school accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.

 

Please note: children must NOT wear tattoos or nail varnish for school.

 

Long hair should be tied back using a simple hair tie. No large ribbons or bows please.
