On Monday 3rd February, the Year 5/6 children are going to hold a fundraising day to support The Red Cross Australia.
As a class, we have been learning about how to be journalists and as part of that the children decided that they wanted to hold a fundraising day to raise funds for the animals and people who have been effected by the wild bush fires in Australia and then write a newspaper report on the day.
The events that the children have decided to include are: wearing odd socks for the day; name the koala; a running challenge and a bake sale.
